Operating system

Home/avg. office  users run Windows in administrative mode only. Thus problem arises when any file downloaded from internet or copied from pen drives contains Trojans/viruses that changes registry entries and/or copies viruses (in system32 folders or in other areas replacing/corrupting system files) without any confirmation from the user. Thus if a windows user(who is a very active internet user ie frequently downloads files from net)has to use his OS efficiently,do at least one of the following:

>>must have a good updated Antivirus+antispyware.
or,
>>if AV and AS are not affordable, use internet in non admin mode eg. in Guest account or use Linux(eg.Ubuntu) for surfing net.

If not they have to suffer with crashes or system hangs or system vulnerabilities(like key loggers to steal passwords or pin nos.)

Few problems and their soln:
>Windows cannot find explorer.exe (even though you can see it is present in c:\windows folder using cmd):
open regedit from taskmanager>>New task:
navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options,if on expanding there is a key name explorer below EncryptPatchVer.dll then delete the key explorer.Done!!
